A two-story county building constructed in the late 1990s had a recurring moisture problem, and the owner needed to know where the water was actually coming from before spending on repairs. G&W was brought in to investigate the storefront and structurally glazed curtainwall running in a ribbon across both floors of the office wing.
A two-person team started with a visual walk of the enclosure, then ran spray nozzle water testing to trace the source of infiltration. Infrared cameras and moisture meters added a non-destructive read on where water was collecting behind the wall. G&W delivered a written report with photographs laying out the findings and its opinion on the causes of the leaks.
