The Lodge has anchored municipal recreation in Des Peres since 2003, and after more than two decades of continuous operation, the City needed a clear picture of roof conditions before committing to repair or replacement scope. The 74,000 SF facility’s low-slope roof system covered approximately 178 squares of membrane in service.

G&W conducted a detailed visual assessment of the membrane, flashings, penetrations, and drainage, paired with infrared thermographic scanning performed under optimal conditions to detect wet insulation not visible through conventional inspection. Findings distinguished between targeted repair scope and sections requiring replacement, giving the City a documented basis for prioritizing capital investment.
