Richardson Elevator (Formerly Italgrani, USA)

Two adjacent industrial buildings on the Richardson Elevator complex in St. Louis received MEPFP design across separate project phases. Phase 1 covered the 24,000 SF, 112-foot Finished Goods Product Building. Phase 2 followed with Mill B, a six-level, 37,000 SF structure rising to 110 feet. Both buildings carry the operational systems demands typical of grain handling and processing facilities, including steam, compressed air, and conditioned electrical and motor control rooms.

The Phase 1 scope included relocation of an existing steam boiler and the addition of two new boilers, relocation of existing air compressor systems, conditioning of electrical and motor control rooms, interior and exterior lighting, and general power distribution. Phase 2 added heating and ventilation with a steam heating air handler, compressed air distribution, motor control room conditioning, power distribution, and Ameren coordination for a new electrical service.
