Oasis at Lakeport Water Park

An indoor water park puts more moisture, heat, and structural glass against a building envelope than almost any other building type, which made enclosure consulting central to the Oasis at Lakeport water park in Osage Beach from design forward. The roughly 45,000 SF building rises two levels over a partially below-grade mechanical floor and is wrapped in an engineered glass structure. G&W reviewed the enclosure through design development and construction documents, then carried verification into the field across several fronts: membrane testing during construction observations, a Registered Roof Observer on the lobby low-slope roof, witnessing of the engineered glass system testing, and electronic leak detection of the split-slab waterproofing over occupied space below.
