Lindemann Road

Lindemann Road carries a Neighborhood Greenway designation in Kirkwood’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan, which shaped a 0.66-mile pavement preservation project funded through the federal Surface Transportation Program. Improvements brought non-compliant curb ramps and sidewalks up to ADA standards and added buffered bike lanes, ADA crosswalks, and a mid-block crossing, with asphalt milling and overlay, intersection work at Dougherty Ferry Road, and storm sewer rehabilitation.

Federal funding brought federal oversight. G&W served as construction engineer for the project, handling construction observation, materials testing and acceptance to federal LPA standards, and coordination with MoDOT and FHWA through completion. The role also covered change orders, federal-aid documentation, and as-builts for the City and MSD, with a DBE partner supporting the materials testing.
