The Greensfelder Recreation Complex at Queeny Park anchors community recreation in west St. Louis County, and its 59,400 SF renovation reset the building for the next generation of use. Improvements to the ice rink included new boards and glass and a new ammonia refrigeration system. A new entry and drop-off lane reorganized traffic circulation, and the program inside received expanded locker rooms, a new main entry area, updated office facilities, optimized kitchen and storage spaces, and a new conference space.

G&W provided MEPFP Engineering across the full renovation scope, including the new refrigeration system and building systems updates, with acoustic and exterior building material coordination running alongside the architect’s scope.
