The Event Lawn Building anchors Brentwood Bound, the City of Brentwood’s public park redevelopment. The single-story, 6,000 SF building combines a café and indoor dining, kitchen, restrooms, storage, and a maintenance room with outdoor dining around a dual-sided fireplace. Its position within a floodplain shaped the civil approach from the start.

Civil work covered event lawn and building grading, sidewalks, storm, sanitary, and utility services, erosion control, and a Floodplain Development Permit that carried an elevation certificate and a Board of Adjustment variance. The building’s MEPFP Engineering came from the same G&W team, moving from system selection to signed and sealed permit documents with a fire protection performance specification for the design-build sprinkler scope and power coordination for site lighting and the food truck pedestals. Construction administration closed out both scopes.
