Avalon Senior Apartments is a four-story, 124-unit senior community in Cottleville with a facility kitchen and shared common areas. A senior residential program carries plumbing demands a standard multifamily layout does not: accessible fixtures throughout, a commercial-grade kitchen serving the full building, and documentation precise enough for the contractor to lay out the work in the field.

Engaged by the plumbing contractor on a design-build basis, G&W prepared the plumbing construction documents, including the first-floor slab layout coordinated to the contractor’s Trimble field-positioning system. Scope covered drainage and water supply fixture-unit calculations, equipment schedules, and signed and sealed permit drawings, with coordination to the civil engineer for service connections outside the building and responses through city plan review.
