Audere at Wildhorse Village

With construction already underway on a four-story, sixteen-unit wood-framed condominium over a below-grade parking garage, getting the building enclosure right meant catching problems in the field before they became water intrusion problems later. Audere at Wildhorse Village in Chesterfield brought G&W in for enclosure consulting alongside an active construction schedule.

The scope started with a detailed review of the construction documents and a markup of details needing clarification, then carried through pre-construction coordination and six quality-control site visits tracking the critical assemblies: waterproofing, exterior sheathing, weather-resistant barriers, roofing, cladding, and glazing. Two additional mobilizations covered fenestration testing, with operable window units checked to ASTM E1105 and storefront framing subjected to AAMA 501.2 spray testing. A progress issues and resolution log kept findings and fixes documented across the enclosure process.
