Imo's Pizza Production Facility

Imo’s Pizza expanded its St. Louis production facility at Delmar and 17th across two phases, each adding capacity to a plant that stayed in operation throughout. The 2018 phase added 14,000 square feet, brought new production lines into the existing warehouse, and built out a 2,500 square foot cold storage area and a spiral pizza crust line. The 2020 phase added roughly 18,800 square feet for production, freezer, and loading docks, with interior work for a frozen pizza line and blast freezer, a relocated production area with new meat room and sauce operation, and office space.

G&W prepared MEPFP Engineering construction documents for both phases, sizing systems to the demands of food production, cold storage, and freezer environments. Work covered relocated equipment coordination, a fire protection performance specification for the design-build sprinkler scope, and construction administration through permit and closeout.
