At 1.5 million SF, the new Ace Hardware Distribution Center in Kansas City stands as one of the largest industrial builds in the region and a key node in the company’s national distribution network. The scale of the building drove the engineering approach across every discipline.

MEPFP Engineering covered mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, alongside site lighting design and coordination of utility services to the building. Fire protection was developed as a performance-based design with detailed zone drawings calibrated to the demands of a large-scale distribution environment.
