The Rawlings Experience

A 14,000 SF brand experience retail space spread across two levels in Westport Plaza presented a different set of engineering challenges than a typical tenant build-out. Existing mechanical systems on the second floor had to be evaluated for reuse before any new design could begin, and landlord-provided equipment on both floors required careful coordination to confirm sizing and compatibility with the new tenant layout.

G&W’s MEPFP scope covered new VAV branch ductwork and boxes, electrical service confirmation and panel sizing, circuiting for all new lighting, fire protection distribution and head layout, and a full low-voltage power and communications plan coordinated with the owner’s cabling, AV, and security teams. Services ran from schematic design through construction administration and punch list.
