Centene Community Ice Center

When a major sporting goods brand relocated its headquarters to three floors of a multi-tenant office building in Maryland Heights, the challenge wasn’t just engineering new systems, it was threading them through an occupied building with existing infrastructure that had to stay in place. Spread across 37,000 SF on the 4th, 10th, and 11th floors of the Gold Building at Westport Plaza, the project required careful coordination between new work and existing core and shell conditions on each level.

G&W’s MEPFP scope included new VAV branch ductwork extending from existing mechanical trunks, all new lighting, restroom refurbishment and new accessible single-user facilities on each floor, coffee bar and break room plumbing, fire protection head relocation, and a full low-voltage power and communications plan coordinated with the owner’s cabling, AV, and security teams. Construction documents were prepared in Revit through permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
