G&W was selected to provide the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) Engineering and Civil Engineering systems for a new four-story, 100,000 SQFT office building in the Cortex District of St. Louis. The building is located on multiple parcels combined into a single 3.2-acre site.
The MEP/FP scope of work was for the building core and shell which was a steel structure with the primary skin composed of glass unitized curtain wall, along with a north elevation comprised of concrete tilt-up panels. The core included men’s and women’s restrooms on each level as well as two elevators, two stairs and electrical/communication closets.
The Civil scope included the site development for the overall project, along with a surface parking lot created exclusively for the new office building.
