O'Fallon Justice Center

The O’Fallon Justice Center brings the City of O’Fallon Police Department and Municipal Court into a single 80,000 SF public safety facility built for continuous operation. Sally port systems, secure parking ventilation, smoke control, and FEMA shelter capability give the building engineering complexity that benefits from independent envelope and systems verification.

G&W’s building enclosure consulting covered design-phase performance criteria review, milestone construction document reviews, and construction administration, with specialty ASTM field testing of the mock-up, air barrier, glazed curtain wall, and aluminum storefronts. A separate MEPFP commissioning scope, also held directly with the City, covered air handling, refrigeration, smoke control, sally port and parking garage exhaust, fire alarm interfaces, plumbing systems, emergency generators, and the FEMA shelter inverter. Together the two scopes delivered whole building commissioning under a single technical team, with a documented baseline for long-term operations.
