A two-story former college building in Sunset Hills was repositioned into DriveCentric’s corporate headquarters, with roughly 29,440 square feet reworked around how a fast-moving software company actually operates. The first floor centers on twenty-two developer stations alongside a cafĂ©, kitchen, game room, and break areas; the second floor holds executive offices, conference rooms, collaboration zones, workstation pods, hoteling and retreat spaces, and a movie room. A reworked atrium with a new connecting stair ties both levels together. Exposed-deck ceilings, LED lighting throughout, and acoustic separation across mixed program types drove the engineering approach.
G&W delivered MEPFP engineering from schematic design through construction administration, including a fire protection performance specification for the design-build sprinkler scope. Existing restrooms were upgraded with new fixtures and piping coordinated to the renovation program.
