The new independent living building at EverTrue Mason Pointe adds 75 units across three stories of non-combustible panelized framing, roughly 136,000 SF, set over a cast-in-place underground garage of about 46,000 SF. A senior independent living program runs dense with resident-facing systems, and the electrical design had to account for the power those systems draw, from mechanical and plumbing equipment to emergency call devices, alongside the lighting and power for the units themselves. Engaged by the electrical contractor on a design-build basis, G&W prepared the signed and sealed construction set. Scope covered fully circuited lighting and power drawings with populated panel schedules, typical apartment layouts, the one-line riser, and a mechanical equipment schedule. The drawings carried power requirements for systems equipment supplied by others, with weekly progress sets issued for contractor review.
